This program is intended for ages 18 and older.
Ta-Neshi Coates’ meditation on race in America framed as a letter to his teenage son. The author, inspired after rereading James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time, decided to write his own version for the current era. 
Copies available at the Circulation Desk after April 19.
To ensure that as many adults as possible are able to attend our programs, spots are guaranteed for those who are registered and arrive promptly. A waiting list is used to fill cancellations before a program begins or for no-shows the day of a program. This does not apply to fee based programs.
