Over 400 years ago, the first black Africans were brought to America as slaves. 
Join historian Martin H. Levinson to discuss the impact slavery had on America and the ways that slavery formed us as a nation. 

Bio: Martin H. Levinson has lectured and written widely on topics of historical interest. He teaches history courses at Stony Brook University and is a member of the Frederick Douglass Council of the New York City Historical Society. He holds a PhD from NYU.
