Join painting instructor Linda O’Connell via Facebook Live and create an adorable Santa sled to display during the holiday season. The surface is a Santa sled ornament that can be purchased at Dollar Tree.

If you plan to paint your project with Linda, prep your piece in advance as follows:

Base face - Warm Beige, Base Beard - Slate Grey, Base hat - Tomato Red

Materials needed for project:

Paint:  DecoArt Americana- Warm Beige, Slate Grey, Tomato Red, Dried Clay, Antique Maroon, Warm White, Graphite, Lamp Black,

Brushes: 10/0 liner, #2 rigger, shaders #10, #12, small drybrush, 1/2” filbert rake Palette knife.

Optional materials:  wood filler, modeling paste, Glamour Dust Ice Crystal, small piece of white Boa.

Optional: Carefully remove pompom, mustache and nose (you will glue back on).  Using wood filler, fill the slats (Instructor did not do the hat), sand and repeat, and then base as above.

First picture does not have the slats filled.  Second picture has optional slats filled and a boa over the fur it comes with.
