You must register with your Community Library Card to attend.
Meet us at Cupsogue Beach at 9:45 am for a 1.2 mile walk to observe, photograph, and learn about Long Island’s Seals with Dr. Kopelman, PhD.
Please note the following guidelines from CRESLI (Coastal Research & Education Society of Long Island) before registering: 
CRESLI seal walks at Cupsogue Beach County Part (at the western end of Dune Road in Westhampton Beach) will depart from area near the fence at the western end of the parking lot. The walks are approximately 1.2 miles round trip and take about 1.5 -2 hours. Meeting times are 15 minutes prior to departure. 
Please be prepared for the weather – I.e. warm clothing in layers.  Hats, gloves, warm waterproof shoes, and cameras are recommended. 
In accordance with New York State Department of Health Covid-19 Guidelines appropriate facial coverings must be warn properly at all times during the walk. Individuals are required to wear facial coverings even when 6’ apart. 
All equipment will be sanitized before and after the walk. 
Telescopes will be replaced with high resolution digital cameras with viewing screen which the public will not be allowed to touch.
Please do not participate if you are sick, have Covid-19, or have been in contact with someone who is sick.
Please note that bathrooms will not be open for use.
